I was wondering in Holy Lock marina, Scotland today and found Shandie of Chichester in the water.   Anybody got any information or knows who owns her?

Hi Stephen,

If you search the forum there are some good posts on Shandie with images of works carried out done to a very high standard.

Hi

If you go to My Account and to the [private] Members List and search using Shandie - you will see that, as far as I and the machine know, the Owner is a Member. You can contact the Owner by e-mail by pressing CONTACT. This will raise an e-mail.

Western Horizon Yachts have a "Shandie" for sale in Holy Loch (http://www.western-horizon.co......oat_id=348).  This is definitely a composite.  Looking carefully at the photos in the above link, could the cabin top have been painted white?

Yes

It is obvious. The sharp corner to the forward cabin trunking is not GRP. She was Uphams built and it is their standard flat faced forward cabin trunking.

That it is white does not mean it is glass fibre. Draig y Mor has 'wooden' looking cabin  trunkingDraig-Y-Mor-in-Falmouth.JPGImage Enlarger but she is all GRP and very smart.

It's important to look a bit close and a bit carefully before jumping to conclusions. The All Known Twisters has been carefully compiled from original records and very recently updated. There may be issues with the data, such as engine changes. If there are errors please tell me.

Urm. Delicate.  An add with none of Calum ( A former Keeper) fabulous works refitting of the cockpit shown.  Bit odd as his work was stunning. Not sure if this add is recent.  Love the name.

Stephen.
