Nothing ventured/nothing gained|Forum|Twister Class Association

Hi Everyone,

Thought this might be a good place to start.  As some of you might be aware, I am restoring a Twister 28 called AEOLIS.  She was quite badly neglected and has been out the water for yes 10 years.  Having said that a previous owner made substantial repairs to her timber decks.  I have been working on her for the last few months and have rebuilt her cockpit, made some internal improvements to her cabin, and am quite close to refitting her engine and mast, then the electrics, blah blah blah..

I am keen to finish her as soon as practical as without a deadline these things do go on an on. I'm finding it a we bit of a challenge and clearly would like to share the project with like minded people.  This got me thinking, I wondered if in the devon/Dartmouth area, a like minded sole existed that would like to participate in the restoration, and could then share the use of Aeolis.   It might well not be of any interest to anyone, However it could be a wonderful opportunity for someone with a Twister interest or background to get back on  the water and share the use of her.   The intention is to finish her and keep her in Dartmouth or the surrounding area.  If anyone has any interest feel free to email me at Stephen.moorey@btconnect.com.
