I have recently purchased 'Mingara' a Tyler twister all GRP of 1974, the previous owner Pat Crockford had her in Falmouth, where she is currently based.
I plan to keep her there as I am originally from Portscatho on the Roseland peninsular. St.Mawes is where I learnt to sail.
Hopefully I will have two - three weeks aboard in early september, getting to know each other...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Twister ownership. They are wonderful boats.
I am Solent based, but often come down to Falmouth, where I have family, but not this year. As there are a number of Twisters in the Falmouth area, our gallant and ever hard working Hon Sec Peter Mulville arranged a meet up for Twister owners in Falmouth a couple of years ago, which I attended, and I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happens again before too long!
