Hello everybody.
I've recently purchased "Charlie" from Steve and Julie Coulter and look forward to sailing her in and around the Clyde/ West Coast .
"Charlie" ( formerly Charybdis ) is a 1978 Tylers hull but has been virtually rebuilt over the last few years.
She is currently ashore at Port Bannatyne for a osmosis treatment that should see her good for another few decades.
I plan to "Oceanise" her ( learned that term on this forum ) over the next few seasons when the wallet recovers from the purchase and hull job. Shopping list will include a windvane, a cabin heater, a windlass and some solar and/or wind generator system. Maybe a stackpack and a cruising chute as well . ( don't suppose anyone wants to swap an unused spinnaker for a cruising chute? )
Will probably be berthed in Ardrossan eventually and any Twister owners /enthusiasts/experts are welcome to drop by for a cuppa.

Congratulations on your purchase, I too have recently purchased my dream boat, Twister Shandie, currently having a full back to hull cockpit re-build in Holy Loch Marina. Am Learning a lot!
Good luck with the osmosis treatment, the guys at Port Bannatyne are great and very helpful, if you are out and about next season in the Clyde, hopefully catch up with you,
