Here we have my Twister which I am having to say goodbye to after many years of happy ownership.
Mardi Gras was built in 1974 and has a glass fiber hull with teak deck and wooden cabin fittings. Her first owner had her for 9 years before passing her on to someone who only owned her for a year. I became the third custodian in 1980, 45 years ago, during which time I have used her extensively each season sailing all around our UK & Irish waters and venturing over to the Continent where I have been from the Baltic down to Spain and all ports in-between.
