Well as the sun rises in morning, I will have spent my last night aboard Helix. In that six years Helix took me places I would have never dreamt id have visited by water.  From the day she was towed from Portsmouth by, Yes Peter Mulville, She has never failed in her role to keep me safe and entertained.  A remarkable journey for me, in that the first day I took her out id never been at sea.  I recall every part of the journey from start to finish.  the bond got stronger as time went by.

Ive been proud to be a member of the Association and would personally like to thank Peter, for all his help over the years.  Trying for us both at times, but I have great respect.  I look forward to following the Association in years to come and to all those present and new members who are starting thier own journeys, I wish you well.

For me.  its not quite the end of a journey, A journey id never have been on but for my cherished Twister. My only consolation and way to deal with a parting was to seek a new challenge.  Little easier in maintenance and in my opinion, one of only a few boats that offer a similar appeal.

So best wishes to all Twister owners,, and to those that have helped me with advice and support, my Sincear thanks, but most importantly to Helix, my memories will not fade.  I hope you enjoy your new journey wherever that may take you.

Stephen.

As you currently have one leg longer than the other, you are presumably running round in circles.  laugh

John,

Nothing new in that.  Easy to deal with, Ive 3 insoles in one shoe.  Trouble is now I cant keep my shoes on when ive got the laptop on my lap.   Ive one knee that sticks out two inches and with my shoes on the laptop sits on my lap at a 45 degree angle.    No pain though in my new hip at all.  If the surgeon uses a tape measure when he does the other side all will be well.  laugh

Happy Days

Stephen
