Twister Meet 2009
This Winter's Meet is booked for the 7th and 8th March at the Lifeboat College, Poole. Courtesy of the RNLI. All members have been sent details in the mail Please respond with indications of interest as soon as possible to Paul Rogers.

Twister Trophy 2008
August 9th 2008, Falmouth.
The Twister Trophy will be awarded to the winner of the 'Falmouth Classics' on the above date.

Combined Rustler/Twister Rally
17th May 2008, Hornet Sailing Club, Gosport
Following our co-incidental Rally at The Folly in September we've been invited to join our larger younger sisters at their early season rally next month.

Well.not only West Country Twisters but anyone else who cares to head in that direction! Christopher Hoare has listed a whole series of dates as follows:
May/June SMSC pursuit and points racing Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings.
May 25th SMSC, Gull Rock, Manacles Race. This is a good one!
June Twisters meet for Tea at Tolverne. Date TBC.
July Local Club Racing.
August Falmouth Classics Saturday 9th
Falmouth Week starts Sunday 10th.
Possible Meet at Helford? Saturday 16th.
Friendly Race to Fowey. Monday 19th.
Fowey Regatta Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st.
Friendly Race Fowey to Falmouth Friday 22nd.

Various prizes of a desirable liquid nature!

Holman Darthaven Trophy
This fine Silver Salver comes up for award for the ‘Best Cruise and Account of Same’ carried out in the current year. This Trophy was presented to us by Sue Holman in recognition of the enthusiasm shown within the Association. It would be really good to see more entries this year. Please remember that you don’t need to have circumnavigated to stand a chance. Well described accounts of local cruises (or steep learning curves for that matter) are equally welcome and can be just as interesting to those who don’t know the area..
