I am planning to repaint my deck and coachroof and I am considering using grey deck paint but I'd like to see what it would look like.

Does anyone have a Twister with grey deck paint and, if so, could they send me a photo please? (Or post it here.)

Hi John,

Hi

I tried grey and it was not good; I now use Hempel Multi Coat Light Blue. It's more of a matt blue grey and it is a sort of light grey in some ligts.

Hello John,

Bob has light grey decks, the lightest grey I could find and we haven't had an issues with it. In fact my previous folkboat had decks the same colour. Here are some pictures for you. I might still have the paint in the shed if you like the colour I will go and find out which one it is and let you know. It is best to note that when we sail, our two dogs come with us and being on Mersea there's a lot of mud. Also only the coachroof has been painted in these pictures.

Thanks,

Katie

Thanks Katie, but I've now decided to go with light blue (Hempel Multicoat with non-slip granules to be added). I have bought the paint and I am off to Brittany next week to put it on. The first job is to get the old stuff off, and get back to the gelcoat, which looks like being a tedious job.
