Brigand Chief

One of the first composite Twisters, she was raced very successfully on the East Coast when first built. She has been cruised extensively to the Baltic, France, the CI's, Falmouth, Brighton. She had a major refit in the mid 1990's, with new coachroof sides, and regular maintenance since, including a new cockpit. She is in good condition, but a change of circumstances means that our plans have had to change. She is on a mid river mooring on the Hamble which, although not walk ashore, provides an excellent location at a very affordable rate.

Other Details: "Brigand Chief turns heads wherever she goes as the composite construction gives the traditional look with the wooden coachroof, but with the easier to maintain GRP hull and deck. She has no bridge deck going into the companionway, but a hinged flap instead, so the cockpit is bigger, and access to the accommodation is easier without the high step. She has an all over cover new last year, which protects the wood of the coachroof, and cockpit, and keeps her dry and the UV off the varnish." Plenty of other information, photos, details available.
